|D-Link Voted Number One Contender In Both Data And Wireless Networking|

D-Link, the end-to-end computer networking solutions provider for consumer and business, was recently voted the top contender among data and wireless networking companies in the 2009 Channel Contenders survey which spanned 14 technology categories to determine which vendors are challenging the entrenched market leaders and are poised to become tomorrow's best sellers.
The annual survey is sponsored by Computer Reseller News (CRN), a leading publication targeting technology product resellers -- known as Solution Providers or Value-Added Resellers (VARs) - part of the information technology (IT) sales channel.
Hundreds of channel participants, including product vendors, distributors and customers, were polled during the survey to provide insight into which vendors are best positioned for success during the economic downturn and beyond. D-Link emerged the top contender in both the data and wireless networking categories.
"More VARs surveyed said D-Link is the strongest contender against the incumbent Cisco than any other vendor," CRN noted in announcing the winners.
"While Cisco has the enterprise market locked down, D-Link is the one to beat in the SMB space, an area where Cisco is pushing hard to be a true player," the publication also stated.
"I would not be selling D-link products for over 20 years if I didn't believe it was the best value in the marketplace. I wholeheartedly recommend their products to all consumers, businesses and resellers that are looking for the highest quality products at the best price," said Don Geller, president, MicroWare Computing, an Irvine, Calif. VAR.
