FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. – June 29, 2016 – D-Link® today announced two new mydlink®-enabled Wi-Fi Cameras, the HD Wi-Fi Camera (DCS-936L) and the HD Pan & Tilt Wi-Fi Camera (DCS-5030L). The new Wi-Fi Cameras deliver advanced video monitoring features at affordable price points, including a wide viewing angle, motion and sound detection alerts, local recording, and 720 HD video quality.
The new HD Wi-Fi Camera (DCS-936L) is equipped with a Wi-Fi signal locator to help users determine the best camera placement, ensuring reliable Wi-Fi connectivity for optimal streaming and recording. In addition, the HD Pan & Tilt Wi-Fi Camera (DCS-5030L) allows users to remotely control viewing angles – offering a 340 degree pan and 110 degree tilt range, which helps eliminate blind spots and offers a wide viewing area.
“Our newest set of Wi-Fi Cameras provide crisp 720p video clarity and free local recording1 with expanded storage capabilities, allowing users to protect more of what they love,” said Carissa Blegen, surveillance product line manager, D-Link. “With motion and sound detection alerts, night vision, as well as remote viewing through our free mydlink Lite app, the DCS-936L and DCS-5030L give homeowners an affordable and reliable DIY security solution.”
Both Wi-Fi Cameras feature HD 720p video quality and 4x digital zoom, allowing users to monitor more in rich detail. Responsive recording allows the cameras to automatically begin recording to a local microSD card when motion or sound is detected, according to a schedule or continuously, allowing users to customize their surveillance recordings as needed.
